M-35 (1.3243) High speed steel

Specification

5% cobalt addition provides hot high red hardness, high strength, tempering resistance, Wear Resistance and Cutting Ability, Fine Grain Size and Carbide Particle Size, This type of steel is suitable for conditions involving thermal stresses and discontinuous cutting.

Application

Mostly use in All kinds of heavy duty milling cutters, cutting machine saws, gear cutter, hobs, reamers, , broaches ,highly stressed twist drills and taps, hot hardness makes the steel suitable for machining of high strength and prehardened steels.
